AThese longitudinally designed, curriculum-based educational initiatives focused on performance/quality improvement will take 2-3 years from initiation to fully implement and obtain final educational outcomes; we will post these results when available.

BThis is the total amount of funding provided by GSK for the respective initiative. For grants approved in 2010, GSK provides milestone payments over the lifetime of the educational initiative. Most of these initiatives have a lifespan over several years, typically 2-3. Milestone payments are usually made twice per year in June and October based upon progress of the initiative. Milestone amounts and dates may be adjusted based upon the progress of the initiative. Each milestone payment is posted in GSK's grants quarterly report during the quarter in which the payment is made.
