Each year the US GSK Center for Medical Education has a provider application period for new organizations that are interested in applying to be considered as 1 of the limited number of educational providers that can submit grants to GSK.
In order to apply for consideration, the organization must meet all of our eligibility and performance criteria.
From May 1 through July 31, 2013, organizations that felt they met ALL of our educational provider criteria completed the GSK 2014 Educational Provider Application and sent it electronically with all required documentation to the US GSK Center for Medical Education. Please note this was not an application for grant funding and that only members of the named organization's centralized IME/CME/CPD department could submit this application.
THIS PROVIDER APPLICATION PERIOD FOR NEW EDUCATIONAL PROVIDERS HAS CLOSED FOR 2013. NO MORE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR 2014.
THE NEXT PROVIDER APPLICATION PERIOD IS SCHEDULED TO OPEN MAY 2014 for EDUCATIONAL PROVIDERS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR 2015.
The Center for Medical Education will competitively review all submitted provider applications, as well as rigorously reevaluate the currently eligible educational providers, and will approve only those organizations who most rigorously and competitively meet our educational provider criteria. The Center for Medical Education will inform all educational providers of decisions by December 2013. All educational providers must be qualified before grant funding requests will be accepted; newly approved providers will not be able to submit grant funding requests until January 2014.Please review our Evaluation of Current Providers for more details about how our currently eligible providers are evaluated.
